- Stop Small Hydroplants -
For ten years, people in Bosnia and Herzegovina have been battling against more than 600 small hydropower plants from beeing built on their rivers. The first part of the battle has been won, as this year the Parlament voted to ban small plants further construction, due to their environmental impact!
But the battle is far from over as many river have already been put though pipes and the building process for some has already started.
Here are some of my illustrations, made in collaboration with ACT Foundation, in hope to bring awarness to the issue I believe is not present here in Bosnia and Hercegovina, but everywhere, as the water resources are becoming scrace, and money still takes the throne for some.
